Terms of Service

Sealed With Destiny Mobile Notary Services provides mobile notarial and related signing services in accordance with applicable Texas laws and regulations. Services may include:

• Acknowledgments
• Oaths and affirmations
• Jurats
• Certified-copy services when legally permitted
• Loan signing services
• Real-estate signing services
• General document notarization
• Depositions and related notarial services
• Other lawful notarial acts and signing services

Availability of a particular service is subject to applicable law and the qualifications and authority of the notary.

Sealed With Destiny Mobile Notary Services is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. A notary public is not authorized to:

• Select or prepare legal documents for a customer
• Advise a customer about the legal effect of a document
• Tell a customer which legal document they should use
• Interpret legal documents for the customer
• Provide legal representation

Customers are responsible for obtaining legal, financial, tax, immigration, real-estate, or other professional advice from an appropriately licensed professional when such advice is needed.

A notary may explain the notarial act being performed but cannot provide legal advice regarding the underlying transaction or document.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate documents. Sealed With Destiny does not guarantee that:

• A document is legally sufficient
• A document will accomplish a customer's intended purpose
• A document is properly drafted
• A document contains all required information
• A document will be accepted by a court, governmental agency, lender, title company, employer, or other organization

If a document contains errors, lacks required information, lacks a proper notarial certificate, or otherwise cannot lawfully be notarized, the notary may decline to perform the notarization.

The signer must personally appear before the notary as required by applicable law. Customers must provide acceptable identification when required.

The notary may refuse to perform a notarial act when legally required or permitted to do so, including when:

• The signer cannot establish identity
• The signer is not personally present
• The document is incomplete when completion is required before notarization
• The notary has a legal reason to refuse the notarization
• The signer appears unwilling or unable to understand the transaction
• The notary has reason to believe the transaction involves fraud, coercion, or another unlawful activity

A free consultation is required before an appointment can be confirmed. The consultation may be completed through our consultation scheduling link, by text message, by phone call, or by email.

A consultation is separate from a confirmed mobile notary appointment. After the consultation is complete, Sealed With Destiny will provide a private booking link for an appointment it has agreed to confirm. An official mobile notary appointment should be considered confirmed only after:

1. The required consultation has been completed;
2. The requested service, appointment information, and availability have been reviewed and accepted by Sealed With Destiny;
3. The private booking link has been completed; and
4. The required $10 booking fee has been successfully received.

A consultation request or completed consultation does not automatically reserve or confirm a mobile appointment.

Customers should provide accurate contact information and appointment-location information.

A $10 booking fee is required through the private booking link only after an appointment has been confirmed. This fee covers one initial signature.

Mileage or travel fees and payment for any additional signatures or services are due after the services are completed, unless a different payment arrangement has been agreed to in advance.

Additional fees may apply when requested services, document volume, travel requirements, waiting time, printing, shipping, or other circumstances differ from the original appointment information.

Any applicable fees will be communicated to the customer before they become due when reasonably possible.

Official notarial fees are subject to applicable Texas law. Sealed With Destiny will not knowingly charge a fee for an official notarial act in excess of applicable legal limits.

Applicable charges may include separately identified travel, mileage, convenience, printing, shipping, administrative, or other lawful service charges.

Where required, fees will be itemized.

Customers may cancel an appointment four (4) or more hours before the scheduled service time and receive a full refund of the $10 booking fee.

Cancellations made less than four (4) hours before the scheduled appointment are not eligible for a refund except when required by law or when Sealed With Destiny elects to provide an exception.

If the customer or signer is unavailable when the notary arrives for the scheduled appointment, the appointment may be treated as a no-show.

In the event of a customer no-show, Sealed With Destiny may refund up to 20% of the $10 booking fee, with the remaining amount retained to compensate for the reserved appointment time.

If circumstances outside the customer's reasonable control caused the no-show, Sealed With Destiny may evaluate the situation individually.

Payment for a mobile appointment does not guarantee that a notarization will ultimately be performed. A notary may be legally required to refuse a notarization.

Examples may include insufficient identification, lack of personal appearance, an incomplete document, questions concerning willingness or awareness, or another legal or ethical reason requiring refusal.

A refusal to notarize does not necessarily mean that the customer's underlying document or transaction is invalid.

For loan signing assignments, Sealed With Destiny acts as a signing agent and/or notary as applicable to the assignment.

Sealed With Destiny does not act as the lender, title company, escrow company, attorney, real-estate agent, loan officer, or other transaction professional unless separately and lawfully engaged for a service within the business's authority.

Questions regarding loan terms, interest rates, closing costs, underwriting, title matters, or the legal effect of loan documents should be directed to the appropriate lender, title company, escrow officer, attorney, or other qualified professional.

We attempt to keep website information accurate and current. However, information on the website may occasionally contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or changes in service availability.

We reserve the right to update services, pricing, appointment availability, website content, and business practices at any time.

You agree not to use our website or services to:

• Commit fraud
• Submit false information
• Impersonate another person
• Submit documents for an unlawful purpose
• Interfere with website security
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
• Upload malicious software
• Use our services for any unlawful activity

Our website may contain links to or integrations with third-party services such as payment processors, appointment scheduling platforms, social media platforms, or other service providers.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, security, availability, or practices of third-party services.

Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and policies.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sealed With Destiny Mobile Notary Services shall not be responsible for losses arising from matters outside our reasonable control, including delays caused by traffic, weather, incorrect appointment information, unavailable signers, defective or incomplete documents, third-party systems, or the actions of other parties involved in a transaction.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit rights or obligations that cannot legally be waived or limited.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
